OMGEEE!!!!

Why on earth you dye your hair with that kind of colour??
ARGH!!!!!
I can't accept it!!!!
Oh gosh, seriously you look better in black or dark brown maybe?
but goodness gracious, not that light brown!
ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Disappointed~
Shocked!
For goodness sake, hopefully you'll dye it another less shocking colour.
Oh gosh!!
You almost give me a heart attack! =X

St. Clair Beach & Journey To The West

Easter holidays started pretty well with a day at St Clair beach.
We actually planned to take the shuttle bus there,
but unfortunately,
it was Easter and of course,
there won't be any bus service that day.
How Sad!!

Thats alright,
no bus, then we can just walked there!
Not all of the groups are joining our walking group,
some prefer to take a taxi there.
*actually I would rather take a taxi if I knew they are going to take!!!*

Huh,5km of journey should be ok for me,
somehow I ever joined the cross-country of my secondary school.
so that took us 1 hour to reach the beach,
cause we visited the Gypsy fair en route from Octagon to the beach.

And finally,
we made it!! YAY!
The beach doesn't look much different from beaches in Malaysia.
but,two quite obvious differences are--It is pollution-free here and the water is freezing cold!
Nothing much we can do on a beach,
so we snapped lots and lots of stupid photos.hahaha
So now,sit back and enjoy some photos taken =)
Jenny's jump shot

My jump shot

Our Jump shot! =)
*Yea,the best thing we can do is take jump shots*

Daren's dancing+jump shot

Look at Tiong, how sexy he is~ hahaha

I <3 Karen,Sueny and Cindy! =)

Trying to capture a photo of lonely~

Another shot

Her effort to act like a model was to no avail.haha

Somehow,I like this photo

Drama King! and Kungfu Queen! haha

oolalala @@

After St. Clair beach,Thank God we went back by taxi instead of walking back.
Phew~

Went to the church at night and anticipating for the choir as we are going to do a capella tonight.
It will be a very nice song!!
yes and indeed we did a great job!
The song was so nice and it is just as what I am expecting.
I just wanna shout out loud here,
I ENJOY SINGING IN THE CHOIR PRAISING THE LORD!! AMEN!

After coming back from church,
it's packing time,
yet Im so so so so lazy to pack my thing.
So I went online and uploaded photos of the beach,
and commented and bla bla bla.
Just before I realise time passed so fast,
It's almost 11 and I still haven't packed a sh*t!
Luckily,I'm kind of a pro in packing stuffs for a trip that I get into bed bout 12 with all things packed *proud of myself!* =)

Monday...6.45am...OUSA building.
Waiting for the bus in the cold cold weather.
It will be a 10hour long journey to West Coast.
so I can make good use of the time by sleeping =0

Spent most of the time in the bus throughout the trip,
Visited some of the most spectacular site of New Zealand,
had some crazy moments with friends,
stress-free,
back-ache,
met some new friends,
ate some good and nice food!
and AWE'D' by the beauty that nature can create!!
There's always light of hope at time of despair.
This picture proves it.

Every photo is a drawing, and this is a nice one =)

Lake of Mantheson, the lake of reflection

Compare these two photos (the above and below), can you differentiate which is real and which is fake?
This is life-real or fake? It takes time to know.

I love this pic to the max.The tree brings out the life of this photo.

Franz Yhosef Glacier
(it's quite disappointed as we are running out of time to go and have a closer look at the glacier :( )

Can you see the rainbow in the midst of the water?

Spare the rod and spoil the child.
hahaha yuh feng,nice expression!

Haha, this is the nicest shyt photo according to Danny.

This reminds me of my hometown.

This is another nice photo.
It gives me a feeling of 'being alone' indulgence. haha

Mind relaxation~

Pancake rock pathway

Mt.Cook

It's another piece of magnificient drawing.

Breathtaking

So there it goes my Easter Hols,
its time to get back to study after so much of relaxation and fun.
Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures =)
See ya!

Good Friday

"Were you there, when they nailed him to the cross?
Were you there, when they nailed him to the cross?
 Sometimes,it causes me to tremble,tremble,tremble.
Were you there, when they nailed him to the cross?"

On this day,
Jesus gave his last breath,
and together with our sins,
he was raised from death, and seated at the right hand of our Father.

Today, the choir is going slow and softly.
With soft music background,
we sang out loud our gratitude and love towards Jesus,
who died for us on the cross.
And I am so grateful that I get the chance to carry the cross for Jesus.
Amen!

People cried,
they are touched,
touched by the lyrics,
by the melody,
and by our voices that's full of feelings. =)
so do I. =')
Praise be the Lord!

After the service,I was starving =X
Had my dinner before going to Toroa for a gathering.
I smelled a nice and familiar aroma once I stepped into the unit.
Yea,its the smell of home~
They cooked nasi tomato and spiced chicken,
which were so tasty!

Met some seniors there as well,
and so coincidentally,
there is one senior who is from my hometown-Sabah.
and he is from Tuaran,so by chance I guessed he should know my father.
And guess what, yes! He consulted my father since he was young.haha
The world is just so small!!!!

Had some really crazy moments that night,
Funny jokes with my buddies,
Hometown stories with the seniors,
Lecture on life in P2 and P3 with the so called Sultan,
Games,
The seriously and absolutely mouth watering Tiramisu desserts,
and most importantly,
the guitar and music part,
it is just so freaking relaxing~
Music make my day! =)
Seriously,I haven't had such nice moments for quite a long time~

Life's so good with music =D as always~
What music best describe your feelings now?

The Lent

Having prepared myself for Good Friday and Easter for more than a month,
I tried hard to keep myself away from anything bad,
away from gossip,
away from having bad intention,
away from scolding others,(yet I kept on asking people to jiak sai..ooOpss)
away from being angry with others...

On the other hand,I need to
Be helpful,
Be forgiving,
Be more faithful,
Be friendly,
and BE YOURSELF!(pathetic? Nah,not really)

I had a severe incurable disease called LAZY,
in which sometimes I am amazed with how lazy I can be.
I am never lazy in giving myself a thousand and one excuses not to study,
I enjoyed being stress free,
but that's just not gonna work here.
No Study=Say Bye Bye to NZ

So I set myself a goal that is to get rid of this 'disease' during the lent month.
I ain't sure whether I did it,
but I think I might be able to bid goodbye to Lazy as time passes by.
Study isn't really that stressful,
It can be fun,(owhkay,im just kidding)

Besides being more hardworking,
somehow,I am able to keep myself from gossiping that often,
though there were times when something really pissed me off,
that I can no longer tolerate with,
and I will burst everything to my friend.
Then I will be alright =)
So gossiping isn't really one of my interest,
but last night what happened in one of my friend's room was an exception. (hahahhah!!)

Lent is a month of reflection.
Be calm,and ask yourself,
Have you become a good disciple of Christ?
Have your attitude reflected your life as a Catholic?
Have you done things that will please God?
Have you forgiven others as how Christ has forgiven you?
Have you prepared yourself for the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ?

May God bless you and enjoy your Easter holidays! =)

A lesson on the ice

Went for ice skating few days ago,
not my first time though,
I skate like a first-timer.
I am still able to recall back the first time when I skate,
I seriously look like a penguin walking on ice,
and fell like a clumsy potato.
The worst was there were so many people looking at YOU!
That's the problem,
I quitted before I actually master the skill.

This is my second time,
I tell myself,
This time it will be--All or Nothing.
You can choose to be one of them who keep on holding to the side wall,
or the one who is skating gracefully.

This is nothing like my first skating experience,
There won't necessarily be the one hand holding you up when you fell,
There won't be eyes with heartache looking at you when you fell right on your butt,
There won't be a person holding your hand to teach you skate,
lots of things won't be taking place as what it was,
but you have yourself with you.
Though you are on your own,
there is just a strong feeling telling you that,
YOU CAN DO IT!

Just skate,
why afraid of falling down?
The time you get up after falling down--a lesson learnt!
I tell myself-
I no longer want to be the old me,
its time to change.
Learn something,and amaze others!
Girl,you can do it!

The hardest thing of every challenge is the guts to take the first step.
And there I go,
slowly and steadily,
I swayed my legs,
left and right,
and OUCH! I fell.
That's alright,no big deal, more importantly,no one is looking at me.hahaha

After few times,I have the feeling that I am almost there..
Yay! I knew it,I just knew it!
I can skate without keep on holding to the wall.
So I skate with Jenny, who has just got the skill too!
She is unlike what she was,
Last time, She was hoping to get out of the skating rink ASAP,
but now,she just hope that she has more time on the rink.
Yea,the truth is we have changed,
both of us,to a better one =)

Happy moments are to be shared with others.
So I started to drag my friend who are still 'clinging' onto the wall out.
I know they are just afraid to take the first step.
Come,hands holding hands,
together we skate.
Step by step,
there's nothing you can't do =)

That night was seriously a good good night. =)

Lesson for the day:

There is always a stronger you deep in your soul.
Change,as no one is waiting for the old you.

Shopping Theraphy

After weeks of dating with my books,
it's finally time to 'ditch' my books aside
and have a shopping therapy with my bunch of girl-friends!

My shopping list:
1. Winter jacket
2. Boots
3. Some tee shirts

Our first stop--Kathmandul
We were there for almost an hour.
Trying on a few kinds of winter jacket.
We seriously do look like stuffed potato in some,
but when we come to the nice one,
there is no size for us!
WHAT??!!
So we bought NOTHING there.

Second stop--Number 1 Shoes
Its some 'boots' time.
I tried and tried and tried,
OMG! There are so many choices,
but I have limited budget,
so I need to choose the best among the best,
What a hard decision...
If Karen was here, she will sure to ask me to buy all.hahaha
Alright,I'll choose this,
and that one,wait for me,
I might be back! =)

Third stop--Glassons
All of us bought lotsa things there.
Jenny is the shopping queen of the day,
yea she beat me =X hahaha
Bought a leather jacket which I look quite stylo in it.
And Jenny bought...
winter hat, tube dress and long sleeve shirts.
Great ya?hahaha

Since all of us are starving,
we went for some chinese food at Meridien food court.
Without wasting much time, our shopping continued.

Next stop--Rubi
Went to search for some boots,
but unfortunately,none was spotted.

Next--Diva
The shopping team left me and Jenny only,
as most of them are tired.
We weren't as we have got enough practice from Miss Karen! hahaha
yet,we bought nothing there as well
since none of the things there are on our shopping list.

N-stops--Cotton On
Cotton On was my favourite shop.
yet the choices here weren't many,
So guess what, yea there wasn't one more shopping bag on our hand when we walked out
though i searched and searched.

Next--Jay Jay
I remembered the first time I stepped in this shop,
The smell of urine was so strong!
That's why it left me a bad impression.
The second wasn't good too.
The shirts are like,ermm..a bit childish. I mean the cartoon on the shirt.
So of course nothing again!

Next--Farmers
Thought of buying some tees here since I haven't buy any.
Yet I just realised that all clothes here are mainly for aunties.
So basically I walked in,
look around,
and went out.

Finally,we stopped by New World to buy washing powder and there it goes our shopping day!
I was totally exhausted when I got back.
yet it is so satisfying!

However Mission NOT accomplished.
No worries,
It will be my show time again next week! =)

Freedom~

Busy preparing for two tests for the last whole week.
To be honest, I never spent such a long time preparing for any exams.
And now its just a test and it takes my whole week away!!
Why??
the answer is simple.
It's Uni life. Even one little mark counts.

Celebrated Yuh Feng'd birthday last Saturday after CELS test,
yet the photos still in my camera,
I am just too lazy to upload it.oops Sorry.
Looking at my friends turning 20 one by one,
and my turn will be soon,
I start to think of my future.
My future career,family and life.
Too early for these??
Nah,
Some of my friends had already get married and had their own children.
But from what I have learned from a drama,
the future thing just let the Future Lisa to decide.

Finished my last test before Easter break,
guess it is time to really have a good break.
First plan after test is to go for shopping theraphy!
Yay!
Its finally my show time! =)

Quote of the day:

I'll be strong,
I'll be wrong,
But life goes on~

Edward =X

Uni life is not necessarily all about study, test and exams.
Undoubtedly, the learning style here is totally different..
NO spoon feeding..
This is really hard for someone like me who had been spoon fed all the way throughout my 19years of education life.
Everything need to be done on your own.
No daddy and mommy beside you to tell you what to do next..
You are absolutely on your own!

But,another not so bad thing is
you have the chance to meet people from all walks of life.
Kiwi,Korean,Japanese,Taiwanese...
Different culture,
different skin colour,
different height,
different fashion style..haha

As an observable person,
one of my favourite 'activity' during a super boring lecture
will be observing people around me.
Observation
#1: "Owh,the guy there is handsome!"(keep on looking)
       (suddenly he turned around)
       (Quickly turned away my head)
       "Phew,luckily he didn't notice"

#2: "Wao,they just sleep in front of the lecturer!"(Can I??)

#3: "Yorr, the shirt is so nice! I must get myself one too!"
(start to think when is the best shopping time)
(budgetting in my head...should I get myself a pair of boots too?)

#4: "What's the time now?"
(What?! Just now it was 9.05, and its now 9.08 only?)
      (Is the clock not working??)

#5: "Alright Lisa, you need to concentrate now!"
(Looking back at the lecturer, lecture notes......)
      (Wrote down some notes)
"Jenny,do you want to go shopping this Saturday?"
Hahahah!!!

After a month of observation,
I spotted someone who really do look like Edward Cullen!
Hahaha, honestly speaking,I don't really like to watch Twilight,
and Im not really interested with Edward,
but my coursemate who look like Edward in someway,
just happen to attract my attention.haha
I don't know what's his name,so I just call him Edward.

Alright, for those who is suspicious with my taste on guys,
Believe me please,
cause most of my guys and girls friends agree with me.
They say he is handsome too!
I mean the guys say he is handsome as well! haha

So this so called Edward guy becomes one of the hottest topic among our gang.
We were like comparing who sit nearest to him,
or who is in the same lab with him,
or anything else.
OMG,
even one of my friends draw some comic series of him,
and that's a 'he',
but asked by a 'she'.
Haha.

Wondering when will this Edward becomes a past tense,
being replaced by some other people.
Maybe some Asian stars this time?haha
Well, just give me some more time,
for me to figure out if there is any hidden stars in my course.*wink*

So Uni life isn't actually that bored~
If you can find the fun out of it,
with a gang of friends.
Enjoy it and have fun! =)

Bored of lectures?

Spot where's Edward! Haha actually the so called Edward guy doesn't really look like Edward in this picture.
He looks much more nicer. =)

 Joke of the day:

A duck entered a bar and asked the bartender,
Duck       : Any bread?
Bartender: No.
Duck       : Any bread?
Bartender: If you keep on asking me if there is any bread, Im gonna nail your beak to the bar!
Duck       : Any nails?
Bartender: No!
Duck       : Any bread?

Hahaha..cheeers! ^^

A Saturday

The 2nd day of April kicked off pretty well~
Did some online assignments and gonna start with my day of revision.
Came through some funny jokes and an awesome song,
Aww!!I know it'll be a good day for me=)
Here are the 2 jokes of the day

A chicken met James Bond one day when it was crossing the road.
Chicken:"Hey,what's your name?"
Bond: "Bond,James Bond.What's yours?'
Chicken: "Ken, Chick Ken"

Hahahahahha!!!

Here's another one:

Wife: "Dear, will you leave me if I become ugly and fat one day?"
Husband start laughing!
Husband: "Ain't I still here with you now?"

 Cheers^^
And have a great day ahead! =)
